My First Time Stamping With OPI & Bundle Monster

I was thrilled to receive stamping plates & polish recently. I've been so curious about stamping & have so many questions like Is it easy? Is it hard?
Do I really need stamping polish? Why do I have to prime my stamper?  So I tried it out & honestly I almost didn't want to post my mani.

Why you ask? Because it didn't come out too good. But then I realized something. This was my first time stamping! What are the chances it going to come out perfect on the first try? Plus I have a broken wrist, how impressive that I can stamp with a broken wrist!

The colors I used are OPI Pompeii Purple, a pink shimmer polish & Bundle Monster Iced Silver Stamping polish.

I started off using 2 coats of Pompeii Purple followed by 1 coat of Glisten & Glow HK girl Topcoat. Once dried I applied Iced Silver to Bundle Monster BM-XL201 plate, scraped off the extra polish & applied the stamper them immediately applied it to my nail.
Once dried I followed up with 1 more coat of HK girl topcoat.
So not bad right? I know it could be better but hey for my first try I think I did pretty darn good.
The reason I wanted to show this mani is because I wanted everyone to see I'm not perfect. A lot of people think bloggers are amazing & perfect, sure some are but they are started out somewhere. Not everyone could instantly know how to do nailart, I bet some of the best nail bloggers had trouble when they first started out.

My advice if your starting any type of nail art is don't get discourage easily, pratice  makes perfect. And before you know it you'll be a pro.

  1. Haha, I have been stamping for ages and still get ones that are nowhere near perfect! That silver polish looks good for stamping though, mine is more sheer
