Urban Decay Vice LTD Reloaded Palette

I'm excited to bring you to you all my first ever guest post!

My guest poster is my friend Megan  Aka @sprinkledkisses on Instagram. Megan is a fellow nail & makeup addict like the rest of us.
So take it away Megan!

Hello friends!

My name is Megan! Some of you may know me as @sprinkledkisses from Instagram! I live in upstate NY & am obsessed with all things beauty. Ann is a close friend of mine so I'm here to show you one of my newest purchases.

The Urban Decay Vice LTD Reloaded palette!

This palette is an Ulta  exclusive and retails for $58USD. Following in the footsteps of  previous vice palettes, this one is jam packed with 20 of Urban Decays famous eyeshadows. This palette contains 7 best seller shades from their line of single shadows, 5 shades that have been featured in previous palettes, 5 vintage shades that have not been made available in the new shadow formula until now, and 3 new palette exclusive shades!

The 7 best seller shadows are Smog, Oil Slick, Laced, Asphyxia, Twice Baked, Midnight Cowboy, and Mildew. Most of these shades have been in previous palettes and all are also available as singles.
The 5 that have only been in previous palettes and are not available as singles are Misdemeanor (book of shadows V.2), Moonflower (Moonflower Build your own palette), Road Stripe (Vice LTD & the blue half of the aura duo shadow in the wizard of oz palette) Freak Show (Fun palette), Anonymous (Vice & Vice LTD)
The 5 vintage shades (which have not been in another palette ever!) are Gash, 501, UV-B, Hot Pants, and Acid Rain.
And last but not least Suspend, Shallow, and Goldmine are the 3 new shades exclusive to this palette!

I love Urban Decay. The quality of their products (not just shadows) are amazing. Ive been trying to get my hands on Gash but had no luck. This palette was a must have for me and having gash in it was just the icing on the cake. I do hope that urban decay decides to bring the vintage shades back and put the exclusive shades out as singles (Gash, Hot Pants, Goldmine, and Anonymous would be my picks!)

My least favorite shadow in the entire palette would have to be 501. It was very very difficult to work with and has awful fallout. I had high hopes for that one too.

Now on to swatches! The shades anonymous & Laced are missing from this line up due to the fact that they pretty much match my skin.

Top to bottom- suspend, 501, smog, moonflower, oil slick, shallow, misdemeanor, uv-b.

Freakshow, goldmine, gash, hot pants, asphyxia

Hot pants, asphyxia, twice baked, midnight cowboy, mildew, acid rain.

Thanks for the amazing review Megan!

  2. Lovely! I have a bunch of Urban Decay palettes but just don't take the advantage to play in makeup like I should. I need to do it before I get too old to care!

  3. I love UD but I don't think I'm a Vice fan! Some of these look gorgeous though!

  4. I haven't tried any UD palettes. I do like their play on colors and combinations in their palettes though. Is there an UD nude palette you recommend?

  7. Great swatches. I hate doing swatches for my blog but I know how important it is to portray the palettes. You did a great job.

  8. UD palettes are my favorite makeup items to buy, so I probably already have a bunch of these shades in different palettes. Doesn't mean I might not still buy it though. ;) Great swatches!
