Rhinestone Nail Art With Anchor & Hearts Lacquer

Like I've said before I really enjoy doing nail art & I want to continue to improve & explore new techniques, methonds & more.
So while I was going thru my nail supply's I was thinking I need a challenge, something that will make me think, something new & different that I've never done before. Then this was the next item I pulled out of my nail art supplies.
Rhinestones! So that settled it, I was going to do a mani for the fist time with rhinestones. Your probably thinking, didn't she use some for the Mani's for Rose nail art? True I did but the big differance is those had an adhesive backside, these don't.

The color I picked is The Stubborn by Anchor & Heart Lacquer, a blue polish with purple flakies & scattered holo microglitter.

I started off with 2 coats of The Stubborn followed by 1 coat of Glisten & Glow HK girl topcoat. Quickly before the topcoat dried I applied 1 rhinestone to each nail with tweezers. I waited 5 minutes then applied 1 more coat of HK girl topcoat.
I'm so happy with how this came out!!! Ok, I think I'm going to keep doing rhinestone mani's. And The Stubborn was perfection, no issues with it at all.
The Stubborn is currently out of stock, but be sure to check out Anchor & Heart Lacquer other colors at

  5. Very cute! I love the look of a stone (or just a dot in polish!) at the base of the nail like this :)

  7. I love the colour combo you used! Very unique! I always kinda secretly love rhinestones... But I like everything that sparkles; always have, always will. My mom used to have to pick me up and carry me away from the jewelry store fronts. Literally.

  9. I love rhinestone manis. I bought a ton on Amazon a few years ago and I actually made myself stop doing them so often because I'd almost used them all up. They're just so easy, especially for the look you get. Awesome work! That polish is gorgeous as well. :)
