Blue Bears With Turtle Tootsie Polishes

Today's mani was inspired from a different mani I did a couple of months ago. Do you remember my pink bear nails? If not click  Here Well, I joined Pinterest recently & once I finally got the hang of it I was shocked to see my pink bear nails were going viral! So today I'm trying it out with a different color.

The color I'm using today is Winter Blues by Turtle Tootsie Polishes,
A linear holographic blue polish

I started off using 2 coats of Winter Blues followed by 1 coat of topcoat. Once dry, using tweezers I applied the panda decals from Toadarrific vinyls then applied 1 more coat of topcoat.

Meet The Blogger: Meet Alice of Makeup, Fashion, Music &; Life = Me

Happy Tuesday! For today's Meet The Blogger its Alice of Makeup, Fashion, Music & Life = Me Aka Photo Escape06. She just wrote an amazing post about why she's single, seriously go check it out!

What make you start a blog?

I actually started my blog in 2005 from MySpace then jumped from platform to platform. I've tried live journal, multiply, even friendster blog! And I just really liked writing in general so that is what made me start one.

How long have you been blogging

I have been blogging for about 11 years.

What would you say makes your blog unique?

I think what makes my blog unique is how authentic I am in my reviews. Even if its a sponsored review I still say the side effects or down sides of the product.

What's your favorite part of having a blog?

My favorite part in having a blog is to be able to share awesome things  to my readers and meeting like minded people.

Have you ever reviewed a product that has become something you use all the time?

Yes! A lot actually.

What would you say is the downside of blogging?

The downside of blogging is when people put you in a certain stereotype. Like with my niche for example, I mostly blog about beauty products so people assume that I wear make up almost everyday or I always get the products I review for free but in reality I don't really wear make up often and also I buy those products if I can so I can review them.

Do you have a least favorite post that you've written?

There was one product that I didn't really like because i had a terrible breakout moment right at the time of the year where I hosted a lot of parties so the struggle was definitely real then haha!

What is something you have to have while writing a blog post? Examples music, watching netflicks, drinking tea ect

I need to have music playing in the background at all times. And coffee of course.

Do you think your blog has changed of the years?

It has definitely changed. I am more conscious regarding what time to post or how to share my posts and also go with the trends.

This question is optional

What was it like finding out you were getting press samples for the first time?

It was a mind blowing experience. I never thought it was a thing especially here in the Philippines. But I still keep it real with purchasing some of the items sometimes.

Are you married? Do you have any kids and/or pets?

Definitely single at the moment. I do have 13 cats and 2 adorable dogs that accompany me at the moment

Any advice for new bloggers?

Blog about what you love. There are people out there who will appreciate your work so keep on writing!

Disney Shadows with SupermMoon Lacquer

Happy Monday everyone!
Today I'm  babysitting so I have my nails ready to entertain! It's so cute to see littles kids reaction to my nails, it's like they are looking at magic. Best part is when they ask their mom "how does she do that?" which she says I have no idea!

Cosmic Dust by SuperMoon Lacquer,
A subtle multichrome with a matching shimmer that shifts in color from red-violet, to magenta, to dark red-orange.
I started off with 2 coats of Cosmic Dust followed by 1 coat of topcoat. Once dry using tweezers I applied the Disney decals from Toadarrific Vinyls onto each nail then sealed it with 1 more coat of topcoat.

Subtle & Bold with Blush Lacquer & Anchor & Heart Lacquer

I was feeling creative today! I wanted to wear a blue polish but wanted to pair with another polish to help make it pop.

The colors I'm using today are I'm No Clown by Blush Lacquer, A light neon pink jelly .
Sunday Morning by Anchor & Heart Lacquer, a delicate pale blue creme featuring purple micro glitter, lavender and turquoise micro flakies, and scattered holo pigment.
I started off using 2 coats of I'm No Clown on every other nail & 2 coats of Sunday Morning on the rest followed by 1 coat of topcoat. Once dried, using tweezers I applied 5 pearl gems from Julep on the nails that had Sunday Morning. The pearls are self sticking so there was no need to add a topcoat of glue to the bottom of the pearls.
Outside lighting
I think I'm No Clown really goes well with Sunday Morning.
Inside Lighting
Oops, the pearls look a little uneven.
All in all I'm very pleased with how this mani came out. I got to thinking though, wouldn't Sunday Morning & the pearls look great for a wedding day look?

I'm no Clown is availible at
Blush Lacquer's Etsy Shop

Sunday Morning is currently unavailable:( but be sure to check out Anchor & Heart Lacquer's other colors at

Meet The Blogger: Meet Nina Of Model City Polish

I'm Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm excited about today's Meet The Blogger because it's Nina of Model City Polish!!!!!'
Nina was the very first indie brand that I ever tried & I don't think too many people realize that she's a blogger too.

What make you start a blog?

I had always been a lover of nail polish and with my every growing collection I decided to start sharing my obsession with others.

How long have you been blogging

4 years

What would you say makes your blog unique?

I wouldn’t say my blog is super unique but that is okay with me.  I guess one thing that is slightly different than a majority is my nail shape.  I have always rocked rounded finished, it’s just a classic look. ❤

What's your favorite part of having a blog?

Uh, the polish! Duh!  Painting my nails is relaxing and I enjoy sharing off my work. ❤

Have you ever reviewed a product that has become something you use all the time?

Oh certainly!  SuperChic Lacquer Liquid Macro Top Coat is my number one top coat for sure.  LondonTown Cuticle Cream is the best thing ever and I use it weekly for my deep down treatment.

What would you say is the downside of blogging?

I can’t think of a whole lot negatives.  Maybe not enough days in the week to show of pretty lacquers?

Do you have a least favorite post that you've written?

Nope.  Even the old stuff, while the photos are not that great, it shows the growth and I feel is a great motivator to keep growing.

What is something you have to have while writing a blog post? Examples music, watching netflicks, drinking tea ect

Generally Netflix or Sling TV is playing non stop.  If I am writing, not painting, then I will most likely have a cat in my lap.

Do you think your blog has changed of the years?

I have certainly started adding more things I love in the recent months and am hoping to share more of my personal loves, like music, with my readers and followers.

Are you married? Do you have any kids and/or pets?

I am married with three fur babies.  I am married to my high school boyfriend and we celebrated being together for 19 years, married for 14, last month. ❤

Any advice for new bloggers?

Just do it!  When I started blogging I really didn’t think I had anything to offer that so many others

were not already doing.  I blog for myself and if anyone else checks it out then fantastic!  Avoid the

drama and just try to have fun with it. ❤
Thanks so much for being a part of Meet The Blogger Nina! You can find her at her blog & the following social media pages.

Makeup Of The Day

One of my main reasons for starting Mani On The Move was because I would constantly look at blog reviews before buying anything. I mean I trust a blogger before a salesman  any day because a blogger isn't trying to make a commission on a sale.
So today's post is a little different, today I'm showing you my makeup look for today.

Here are the products that I'm using:
Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Foundation in Ivory 12
Guerlain Meteorite Power Pearls in Clair 2
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop
Benefits Cosmetics Fakeup Undereye Concealer in 01 Light
Hourglass Ambeint Lighting Blush Palette(I used Mood Exposure)
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Mascara
Benefit Cosmetics Rollerlash Mascara
Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil
Urban Decay Cosmetics Vice Lipstick in Backtalk
SmashBox Full Exposure Shadow Duo
As you can see a lot of my products gets lots of love.
I didn't understand the hype about Champagne Pop so I got it to find out why & now I use it daily!

Fakeup Concealer was introduced to me by my mom, & ever since she showed it to me I've been hooked ever since.
Guerlain Meteorites I'm become addicted to collecting all for them, they last forever & make my skin look amazing.

Marc Jacobs Foundation is simply amazing! I discovered it at a Sephora event, and now it's my 2nd favorite(1st being Estée Lauder)
Your probably wonderingly why 2 mascara? Well, that's simple these 2 make my lashes pop!

Hourglass Blush Palette is one of my favorite products, mainly because instead of search for a different color I have 3 colors to choose from.

Urban Decay Lipstick, Smashbox Eyeshadow & the Make Up Forever Eyeliner are all new items for me. Today is actually the first time I've ever tried them.

Ok for the moment of truth & you all get to see selfies of me.
Side view
Not bad for someone who isn't a pro right?
I was very impressed with the Smashbox Eyeshadow & Make Up For Ever Eyeliner The eyeshadow lasted all day & when I applied I didn't have any fallout. The eyeliner applied easier, & lasted all day as well. Now for the Vice Lipstick granted I like the way it looks & feels but it didn't last as long as I would have liked.

All products that I used can be found at
Sephora.com
The Hourglass Blush Palette was discontinued but the colors are available individually.

The colors I'm using today are
Himalayan Poppy by Model City Polishes,a bright sky blue crelly with blue flakies and splash of holographic pigment.
Doheny by Vapid Lacquer, a Yellow jelly polish shimmering with a linear holographic rainbows.
I started off with 2 coats of Himalayan Poppy on my outside nails & 2 coats of Doheny on my inside nails followed by 1 coat of topcoat. Once dry I applied a little bit of Himalayan Poppy on a sponge & applied to the nails that had Doney.
Next I applied several Butterfly decals from Toadarrific Vinyls & Vinyl It Up! on each nail then applied 1 more coat of topcoat.

Outside lighting
I was hoping it would look like the sky.
My first attempt at a macro! Not bad right? There is definitely room for improvement:
Inside lighting
I'm loving Doheny in this picture.
My original idea was add the blue on top of yellow to make it look like the sun & the sky. Granted it didn't turn out the way I planned but I think it turned out pretty cute.
